How it’s going!

When I took office in May, I had some main goals that I wanted to achieve. Those goals included: Trustee emails provided by the school district, pursuing changes to the anti-bullying policy, creating a more open district and visiting every school and meeting the teachers. So far, the district has implemented district emails ( and we’ve started the process of changing the language of the anti-bullying policy to add ‘gender identity’ and ‘sexual orientation’. This month I have also reached out to the district, State Representative Edie McClafferty, county Superintendent Cathy Maloney and community members to draft a bill, that will be introduced to the Montana Legislature, early next year.
